Khalid Bronx Concert reviews
What a disappointment.
"I anticipated an ambient setting with ethereal tunes and vocals for this concert. I was excited for Khalid's distinctive sound. However, what I experienced was an overpowering humming noise with sporadic vocal harmonies. Another audience member voiced their dissatisfaction early on, urging the band to adjust their sound. The band's reaction was negative, affecting their performance. The highlight of the show was the lead singer's solo rendition of Oliver James during the encore. Without the band's interference, the true essence of the music shone through. Although the vocal harmonies were impressive when audible, they were a rarity. Sadly, this marks the second time in a year that sound mixing has disappointed me. The opening act was promising, but the foxes seemed uncertain of their musical direction. Their live performance conflicted with their soothing songwriting. I am hesitant to attend their future shows after this disappointment."
